ben shooting

Las Vegas - Not gonna throw down on the opening night of the NBA, but there is a delicious Ben Simmons prop bet floating around. Everyone knows that Simmons has had issues shooting the ball, so there is now an Over/Under total on how many games Ben will play before hitting a 3-pointer. The O/U is 22.5 games and we're thinking about riding with the Over.

We will throw down on the National League Championship Series tonight. First a few facts. The Phillies came out on top in the season series 4-3. Yu Darvish gets the ball for San Diego and in two starts against the Phils this season, he has one win, pitched 13 innings, allowed 3 earned runs (2.08 ERA) and posted 14 Ks. Zack Wheeler had just one start against the Padres and it was a beauty. He went 7 innings, all bagels and posted 9 Ks. Both teams come in sky high after glorious wins in the LDS so we're gonna call that even. The only real edge we can see is at the back end of the bullpen. The Phillies don't have a traditional closer, while San Diego has Josh Hader. If you just looked at his regular season numbers (5.22 ERA), you would be scratching your head because they were ugly. But if you dig a little deeper, and look at his playoff numbers, WOW! In four outings against the Mets and Dodgers, his ERA was, you ready, ZERO POINT ZERO ZERO! Gonna pass on picking the winner of tonight's game, but will throw out a tasty prop bet. And it's how many runs will be scored in the 1st inning. We're gonna go Over 2.5 runs scored at 10/1 odds. Enjoy!
