Las Vegas - Starting out West with the opener of the Jazz/Clippers series, and we're not gonna worry about rust. Utah has not played since June 2 but at home, NO ONE does it better. The Jazz posted a gorgeous 31-5 record at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City and they're not gonna make the same mistake they did against Memphis. Coming into the opening game against the Grizzlies, Utah was off for seven days, and the Grizz posted a shocking 112-109 win. Quin Snyder is way too savvy to let that happen again. As for the season series, the Jazz (+3.5) beat the Clippers at home on January 1, 106-100, the total was 219.5 and went Under. Then they had two games in L.A. with a day off in between. Utah (-7) blew past the Clippers 114-96, the total was 228.0 and went Under. If you're wondering why the Jazz were -7 AT L.A., Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were both out. Then the Clips (-1) came back to take the next game, 116-112, and the total of 228.0 turned into a push. Kawhi and PG13 both played, which is why the line moved EIGHT points. However, the problem tonight is Mike Conley's hamstring. If Conley is out, we'll still play the Jazz, but just a tickle. If Conley is in, then we jump on Utah and BOOK IT!!!

Heading back East, was all set to rock the Sixers after going down 0-1 to the Hawks, but just got word that Joel Embiid is questionable. Once again, can NOT make a selection without a solid take on Joel's status. Pass for now.
