Las Vegas - Not saying we're gonna see PERFECTION again tonight from Chris Paul, but MAN, what a game he had in the finale against the Pelicans. He had 33 points and was 14 of 14 from the field, yes, FOURTEEN of FOURTEEN!!! Made his only hoop from downtown, and was 4-4 from the free throw line. He had 5 boards, 8 assists and wound up with a gigantic +17 on the plus/minus sheet. And even better news for Phoenix is the fact that Devin Booker played 32 minutes after missing three games. And now he has four days of rest to get even healthier. Throw in my favorite player on the Suns, Mikal Bridges, who is a SHUT DOWN defensive stopper and will probably be face-to-nose with Luka. Then you add a little dash of Deandre Ayton, and this is a team built to go all the way to the Finals.

Now for the regular season history. Back in November, the Suns (-8) beat the Mavericks in Phoenix 105-98. The Over/Under total was 212.0 and went low. They played two days later, again in Phoenix, and the Suns (-8.5) beat the Mavericks one more time, 112-104. The Over/Under total was 211.5 and went high. In January, the Suns (-2.5) beat the Mavericks in Dallas 109-101. The Over/Under total was 216.5 and went low. So, we're thinking that PHX is gonna take game one and also advance to the Western Conference Final.

On the MLB board, gonna take a look at the Over/Under total in the Marlins/D'backs game. The total is listed at 7.0 and we're gonna go low. Miami sends Pablo Lopez to the mound, and he has NOT given up an earned run over the last 18 innings. Arizona sends Zac Gallen to the hill and he has allowed just one earned run over the last 15 innings. So, one + zero = one, and unless the total comes down to like 2.5, we're all over the Under.
