Las Vegas - For all my friends in NYC, lemme tell you that after the trade for Francisco Lindor and Carlos Carrasco, the Mets odds to win the World Series have dropped dramatically, from an open of 35/1 all the way down to 12/1. Conversely, for all my friends out in Cleveland, they opened at around 30/1 and have ballooned all the way up to 50/1.

On the college hoop board, gonna roll out to East Lansing and grab Michigan State -4 points over Purdue. The Spartans opened the season with a sweet 6-0 run, then went blank. They lost three in a row, but the New Year has started with a bang. They beat Nebraska 84-77, covering an 8-point spread, then spanked Rutgers, 68-45, covering a tiny little 3-point spread. State also killed Rutgers on the glass, posting a YUGE 45-25 advantage. The Boilermakers have not really had good vibes in 2021, starting the year with two straight losses. They come into Tom Izzo's house with an 0-4 NEGATIVE spread perfecto. And even UGLIER, an OH & FIVE on the road, straight up and against the spread.
