Las Vegas - What am I missing? When the lines opened this past Sunday night, Army came out as a 10 point favorite over Connecticut. Lemme give you a little UConn history over the last four years. Start with 2018 and an 1-11 record, followed by 2-10 in 2019, and THANKFULLY, the 2020 season was canceled due to Covid. The Huskies bounced back in 2021 with a gorgeous, he said sarcastically, 1-11 record. That's a combined 4-32 record. Big OUCH! So, they fired Randy Edsall and brought in Jim L. Mora, Jim E.'s kid. If you're not familiar, Jim L., he coached in the NFL for four years with Atlanta and Seattle, then spent six years at UCLA. He was 46-30 with the Bruins, and has turned the UConn program on its head. He already has more wins, six, than the previous four years, and should grab number seven against Army. The Huskies roll in to West Point with a 6-5 mark, but for the wallet, it's a GLORIOUS/PROFITABLE 7-0 run against the spread. The Cadets scored seven points against Air Force and only nine against Troy in their last two outings. So, PLZ, tell me what I'm missing? The line hasn't moved off 10 all week, and as long as Jim L. is on the headset, we're BUYING the Huskies!
