Las Vegas - After an ugly 0-5 start, the Mets have bounced back strong, winning 13 of the last 19 and six of the last seven at home. Jose Butto takes the ball for New York and he has posted a sweet 1.65 ERA in three starts, allowing three earned runs over 16 innings. You can also throw in 21 Ks. St. Louis is sitting at the bottom of the N.L. Central, losing five of the last seven, and Miles Mikolas is one of the reasons. Mikolas had a lousy start to open the season (7 hits, 5 earned runs, 4 innings), then had two decent outings. But his last two would have to rank as, well, UGLIFIED. Miles has been ripped for 13 hits and 10 earned in just 9 innings. He has not had a winning record since 2018 and the Mets should be able to take advantage. New York, New York for the money.

And on the NBA hardwood, as long as Giannis is still a spectator, we're gonna throw a handful of chips at the Pacers to rock the Bucks and take a 2-1 lead in the series. Just saw the line jumped up to Indy -6, so while we're still on the Pacers, we would slice the bet in half.
