Las Vegas - Ran across this cool NFL prop. Which state will the Super Bowl champion come from? If you guessed California, with the Rams, Chargers, 49ers and Raiders, the odds are sitting at 9/2. If you guessed Pennsylvania, with the Eagles and Steelers, the number is 8/1. If you guessed Ohio, with the Browns and Bengals, the odds are 12/1. If you guessed Texas, with the Cowboys and Texans, the take back is 15/1. If you guessed Florida, with the Jaguars, Bucs and Dolphins, you're looking at 20/1. If you guessed New York, with the Jets, Giants and Bills, you can grab 25/1. But if you're looking for the favorite, it's ANY OTHER STATE at 1/2. Of course, the great state of Massachusetts, and you know who, is in that subset.

As for tonight's NFL action, we have had a standing rule of NOT opening the wallet for any of the exhibition, oops, preseason games, but there are coaches that have OWNED this space. My man @JTFOZ from OddsShark tells me that the three best are Seattle's Pete Carroll with a 33-16 record (67.3%), Baltimore's John Harbaugh at 30-15 (66.7%) and Minnesota's Mike Zimmer at 14-7 (66.7%). And keep an eye out for Indy's Frank Reich as he heads into his sophomore season. Why? Because he swept the preseason board last year with a 4-0 spread PERFECTO. That's probably why the Colts opened at pick'em and are now -2.5 or even -3 points at a couple of books.
