Las Vegas - Been there done that. The Dodgers were in a YUGE hole last year against the Braves, down 3-1, but came back to win the NLCS. They might not come all the way back again, but gotta throw a big pile of chips at Walker Buehler to at least grab game three. And of course we have reasons. Buehler has been a rock against Atlanta the last three times out, allowing just three earned runs over 18 innings for a svelte 1.50 ERA. Two of those starts were in last year's NLCS and the last one was back on August 31 at Dodger Stadium. Love Charlie Morton, but the aging warrior seemed to slip his last time out in the playoffs, getting rocked by the Brewers for 4 hits and 2 earned in just 3 innings. And you might not remember, but in last year's World Series, Charlie was with still with the Rays. He started against the Dodgers in L.A. and was pounded, allowing 7 hits and 5 earned in just 4 innings. Los Dodgers were money at home during the regular season, with a 58-23 record, the BEST in MLB, so gonna look for some bucks courtesy of Buehler's right arm.

Not ready to bounce on to the NBA hardwood just yet, but will tell you that Brooklyn's star point guard Kyrie Irving is out. Can also tell you to IGNORE the Lakers 0-6 preseason record because they'll be ready for the Warriors tonight. Of course, the Purple & Gold will be plugging some new pieces into the mix, like Russell Westbrook, and it might take a while for the Lake Show to jell. So, we pass on both games.
