Las Vegas - Before we get to the NFL game tonight, gotta throw a shout out and ULTIMATE RESPECT to my DAD and the GREATEST GENERATION!!! To everyone we know who is now serving, to everyone who will serve and to everyone that has served, we owe you EVERYTHING!!!

True or false? If we followed trends blindly, we would all be rich? Nah! You probably saw this stat, which has John Harbaugh at 9-0, that's NINE & OH, against the spread vs. Miami in his time at Baltimore. So, naturally, it's ALL IN on the Ravens, right? Hold up a second. Sure Baltimore has won six of the last seven straight up, but they are costing their backers a bunch of cash, covering only three. What about the Edgar Allan Poes as a road favorite? Nah, costing you big bucks again with an 0-2 mark this season. That means we have to look at the Dolphins, right? Hold up. Sure the Fish posted a 17-9 win over the Texans last week, but did you see the stats? Jacoby Brissett was 26 of 43 for 244 yards, was sacked four times and threw two INTs. And if you're wondering about the running game, we can summarize it in one word, NONEXISTENT! We're talking 47 rushing yards on 25 attempts which works out to a pathetic 1.9 yards per. YUCH! And finally, we can tell you that Lamar Jackson was born in Pompano Beach and went to high school in Boynton Beach before leaving for Louisville. Pompano and Boynton are just a few miles north of Miami and Lamar REALLY enjoys playing against the Dolphins. How do we know? Scroll back to 2019 when Jackson paid a visit to the Fish and led Baltimore to a 59-10 blowout. If you're thinking about betting the 1st half, the Ravens were up ONLY 42-10 at the break. And Lamar's numbers were OFF THE CHAIN, with 17 hits out of 20 passes for 324 yards, FIVE TDs and a SICK 158.3 rating. The only issue is Double T, Tua Tagovailoa. Tua has an issue with a fractured middle finger on his left hand. And as you know, he's a LEFTY. If Tua plays, we might skinny up the bet just a bit, but if it's Jacoby Brisket, I'm reading Edgar Allan Poe to my kids all night long!
