Las Vegas - Getting you ready for the Denver/Phoenix matchup on the NBA hardwood tonight with a look back at the regular season scores. The first meeting was in Denver and the Nuggets (-4) grabbed a 128-125 victory and went Over the posted total of 229.5. In the second game, also in the Mile High City, Denver (-14.5) picked up a 126-97 win and went Under the total of 226.5. If you're wondering why the line was GIGANTIC, Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton all sat on the bench, while Kevin Durant wasn't part of the team until February 9. The third matchup was in Phoenix and the Suns (-13.5) posted a 100-93 W and went Under the total of 223.5. Another enormous line because Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope all missed. The final game was also in Phoenix and the Suns (-13.5) squeezed out a 119-115 victory and went Over the total of 225.5. Not sure what to make of this Phoenix team that has played the Clippers SIX straight games. Why? The Clips had NO Paul George and Kawhi Leonard was basically playing on one leg. The Nuggets are healthy and PHX might take a few minutes to get used to the Mile High Air. Denver also had the second best home record in the NBA at 34-7 (Memphis was #1 at 35-6), so gimme a very light play on the Nuggs in the opener.

Not sure how long it's gonna last, but Minnesota's Sonny Gray is OUT OF HIS MIND right now. He hasn't lost a game (3-0) and has allowed only 2 earned runs over the last 29 innings which works out to a 0.62 ERA. Yea, ZERO POINT SIX TWO! Gimme the Twinkies for the money.
