Las Vegas - Got a little MLB action for you before we hit the NBA hardwood, and we're rolling with the Twins and Sonny Gray over the White sox.

Is it raining? Do you see lightning? How about Thunder? Looking at Oklahoma City +5.5 points over New Orleans in the Play-In game. OKC snuck into the playoff party with a 40-42 record and the #10 seed. The Pelicans were a touch better at 42-40 with the #9 seed. We looked at the four games these two played, and the results were VERY interesting and VERY tight. The first matchup saw New Orleans at home as a -5.5 point favorite with an Over/Under total of 232.5. The Pelicans squeezed out a 105-101 win and the total went Under. In the second game at Oklahoma City, the Pels (+1.5) posted a 128-125 victory and the total, 233.5, went Over the posted number. The third game was at OKC, and the Pelicans won again, 103-100 as a +3 point underdog. The total was 235.5 and went Under. In the final matchup back in New Orleans, the Pels (pick'em) lost 110-96 and the total, 232.5, went Under. So, the Thunder lost three of four, but notice the final margins. They lost by four, three and three. Not gonna go nuts, but will buy the hook to +6, and expect a little light Thunder in the forecast tonight.
