Las Vegas - EVERYONE is opening their wallet to bet AGAINST Patrick Corbin and the Nationals. They're playing the Braves, Max Fried is throwing for Atlanta, and the price is YUGE. The Braves opened around -$215 and it has been bet all the way up to -$250 at some sportsbooks (Caesars, Mirage and William Hill). Totally understand the FLOOD of ATL money because Corbin was pathetic last season.

Las Vegas - Smelling the grass, the pine tar, putting some eye black on, and ready to throw a couple of future bets at you. There are some Over/Under numbers floating around that look like MONEY in the bank. Saw an Over/Under on wins for Shohei Ohtani listed at 11.5. This is THE BEST player on the planet, and the 11.5 looks WAY too low. Ohtani had 15 wins last season, and should be able to at least get a dozen this year.

Las Vegas - Skating back on to the ice tonight in St. Louis and looking at the Over/Under total which is sitting at 6.5 goals. The Blues know how to score netting 17 goals in the last three games. They also know how to give up goals in bunches, which is why the total has gone OVER in seven of their last nine games. Vancouver has finally perked up under new head coach Rick Tocchet, winning 10 of the last 12, and lighting the red lamp 14 times in the last three games.

Las Vegas - Just came across an incredible stat from back in the day. We know what the GREAT Tony Gwynn did on the baseball diamond, but bet you didn't know about his work on the hardwood. Gwynn played hoops at San Diego State, and IS STILL the ALL TIME leader in assists with 560. Guess GREAT is GREAT no matter if it's on wood or grass.

Not really interested in anything tonight so we're gonna take a breath and close the wallet.

Las Vegas - Gotta stick with my guy Jim Larranaga from the Bronx. His Miami team is not just winning games, they are WINNING GAMES! Started the tournament with a 63-56 win over Drake, covering a -2.5 point spread. Then an 85-69 win over Indiana as a +1.5 point underdog. And then the 89-75 win over Houston as a +7.5 point dog. What makes this a tough call is, Texas has also been rocking. The Longhorns have won seven in a row and covered seven of the last eight.
