Las Vegas - Of course you're dying to know who will be the first college football coach to get the pink slip, and obviously, we have odds. Clay Helton at USC is at the top of the soon-to-be-unemployed list with odds of 5/1. Right on his heels is Chris Ash of Rutgers at 6/1. Lovie Smith ain't getting much love at Illinois with 8/1 odds to get the heave-ho. Gus Malzahn is a short walk away from the exit at Auburn with odds of 10/1.

Las Vegas - Gonna throw down early in the National League and late in the American League. Dropping some love on the Brewers with Adrian Houser over the Cardinals. Houser is not on anyone's list of the best arms, but he has been rocking the party the last three times out, allowing only 3 earned runs over 18 innings for a gorgeous 1.50 ERA.
Las Vegas - Andrew Luck retires and it creates a mini-tsunami here in Vegas. Start out with the Colts odds to win the Super Bowl, which opened at 15/1, and with NO Andrew, plummeted all the way to 50/1. On the totals board, Indy opened with an over/under of 9.5 wins, and you can shave three off the total which dropped to 6.5. And for week one, the Chargers opened at -3.5 points at home, then when Luck announced, the game was taken off the board.

Las Vegas - Looked over the baseball card, and nothing was really calling my name. So, it's across the pond to scope out a Premier League match between Tottenham and Newcastle United. The Spurs are a YUGE favorite, but think they are worth a bite. Why? How about the fact that the Hotspur have lost just one of their last 10 Premier League home games. Or, Newcastle has won just three of their last 21 League games in London. Just in case you were wondering, the Spurs live in London.

Las Vegas - John Harbaugh was on the way to 3-0, then there was LIGHTNING. The Eagles- Ravens game was suspended at 11:53 of the 4th quarter, which made the game a wash. The standing rule is, a game must go 55 minutes for it to be official. That woulda been a 3-0 preseason perfecto for Harbaugh, but Baltimore bettors had to settle for a refund instead. And of course, every loyal Philly bettor that dropped cash on the Birds was THRILLED!!!
