Las Vegas - First a little history as we look at the NFC Championship Game. This ain't the first time that Jalen Hurts and Brock Purdy shared a field. Back in 2019, Iowa State went to Norman to play the Sooners. The Cyclones started the fourth quarter down 42-21. Purdy caught fire and came up just one point short, 42-41, when the final gun sounded. Brock had a day. He was 19 of 30 for 282 yards and FIVE TDs. He also scampered for 55. Hurts wasn't too bad either, hitting on 18 of 26 for 273 yards and 3 TDs. Will that matter Sunday? Probably not. Both QBs are riding high in the NFL and both face the best defenses in the league. The 49ers are #1, allowing 300.6 yards per game, while Philly clocks in at #2, allowing 301.5 ypg. MAN, this is such a tough game to predict. Both QBs are stellar, but think that Hurts has the edge. Both have weapons all over the field. Both defenses are stout. Here's another interesting and maybe useless stat. Brock Purdy is the fifth QB in NFL history to make it to a conference championship game in his rookie season. The other four, Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco, Mark Sanchez and Shaun King have a combined OH & FOUR record. Looks like Jalen's shoulder is just fine, but on the other side of the field, Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell are both are dealing with nagging injuries. McCaffrey suffered a calf contusion, while Mitchell has a groin issue. Both should play, but at what level? It hurts to play against the Niners because they could be the key to winning my fantasy league, but Hurts is where my money will wind up. But just a small play to the Igles!

However, we're gonna BANG a delicious prop really hard. Taking 49ers kicker Robbie Gould to go OVER 1.5 field goals made. Why? He has NEVER EVER missed a FG in a playoff game (29 for 29) and threw down a 4 FOR 4 PERFECTO last week against the Cowboys. MONEY!!!
