Las Vegas - You might not know how to spell his name, or, pronounce his name, but Mike Foltynewicz can throw a baseball. His first start was against the Blue Jays and it was kinda ugly. He was roughed up for 4 hits and 4 earned runs in just 4 innings. After five days rest, Folty bounced back with a gem against the Padres, allowing only 2 hits and 1 earned over 7 innings. Looked across the field at Baltimore's starter, Jorge Lopez, and we noticed a double dose of UGLY. Lopez has started twice and given up 11 hits and 11 earned runs in just 8.2 innings. My calculator tells me that is a GINORMOUS 11.42 ERA. And if you didn't look at yesterday's action, the Orioles had to play a doubleheader against the Mariners, and might be a little lethargic down in Arlington. Gimme the Rangers for the money and you can BOOK IT!!!

Thinking about skating on to the NHL ice, and tickling the Wild over the Sharks. This is a sweet little double revenge spot for Minnesota after getting beat twice at San Jose. But this game is back in Minny, at the Xcel Energy Center, where the Wild have won 13 of the last 14. Yea, THIRTEEN of the last FOURTEEN. C'mon and go WILD with me!
