Las Vegas - If you're wondering why this is the second lowest Over/Under total on the board this week, the answer is easy. Buffalo ranks FIRST in the league in total yards allowed (275.2 per game) and is second in points allowed (16.5). New England has allowed 316.7 total yards per game, which is 4th best on the pecking list, but is NUMBER ONE in points allowed, holding teams to 15.8 points per. So, maybe we look Under. Just got off the phone with my sister-in-law who lives in Buffalo, and here's her best effort. She tells me that we're looking at cloudy skies, less than a 10% chance of rain, but the WIND. Her anemometer has been logging the wind at around 25/27 miles per hour all day long. And by the way, I just pulled anemometer out of my hat, without Google. My kids were impressed. The term comes from the Greek word anemos, which means wind. And, okay, DID Google that bit. If the wind is howling over 25 MPH, check your anemometer, or, call my sister-in-law, then we would think about going low. However, if the howl turns into a light breeze, then we bang the Over. If you do call my sister-in-law, make sure to ask for Mrs. Smith!
