Las Vegas - Before we get to the Peyton & Eli show, I mean the Monday nighter, you gotta check this out.

High school football in California is on par with Texas and Florida as the three best states in the country, and there was a game this past Friday night that was an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! Inglewood (California) Morningside and Inglewood High played and the final score was, are you sitting, Inglewood 106, Morningside 0. Yea, ONE HUNDRED SIX to ZERO! But that's NOT the whole story. Inglewood was up 104-0 and went for a FREAKIN' two-point conversion. WHAT! Maybe one of the UGLIEST things I have seen in my 40+ years on the sports beat. They should get the coach of Inglewood High and make him do the WALK OF SHAME thru the halls of Morningside High. Kinda like the walk of shame in the 'Game of Thrones,' when Cersei Lannister had to walk naked through the streets of King's Landing. We will let the coach of Inglewood keep his clothes on, but we give EVERY kid from the Morningside football team a bell so they can ring it in his ear and bellow, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!

On to some football, and looking at some VERY strange numbers on the Kansas City side of the ball. The Chiefs have committed the MOST turnovers in the NFL with 17 in just seven games. They had 16 in ALL of last season. Kaycee also ranks LAST in the league in yards allowed per play (6.6). Maybe the highlight of all the ugly is the Chiefs recent run against the spread, covering only three of the last 18. On the other side of the field, there's really nothing special about the New York Giants. Sure Daniel Jones had a laugher against Carolina last week, winning 25-3, but that is not gonna make me jump up and run to the ticket counter. Or click on my phone app. The game does not speak to me, or my wallet, so it's gonna be a pass.
