Las Vegas - Houston's Framber Valdez is only 3-4 at the moment, but that AIN'T gonna last long. Why? He is starting to heat up, just like he did last season in May, and his last outing was GORGEOUS (8 innings, 3 hits, 1 earned run and 12 Ks). Framber is sitting on a 2.38 ERA and should have no trouble handling Jameson Taillon and the Cubs. Gimme the Astros for the money.

Las Vegas - Grab your passport and come with me to Toronto. Gonna take a taste of the Blue Jays as long as Yusei Kikuchi is on the mound. Kikuchi has been PERFECT so far this season with a gorgeous 5-0 record and a solid 3.35 ERA. Digging a little deeper, Yusei LOVES to pitch in Canada, and his ERA at home this season in Rogers Centre is 0.82. And speaking of home cooking, the Jays have won 10 of the last 13 in the North.

Las Vegas - Sandy Alcantara won the Cy Young Award last season, and that was after a kinda rough start, with only two wins in his first seven outings. Then in the middle of May, he turned on the jets, won 12 of 19 and pitched to a GORGEOUS 2.28 ERA. Looked at the calendar and it appears to be the middle of May, which means it's time to win a little candy with SANDY!

Las Vegas - Don't really like the Lakers, but when you're playing with one of the TOP FIVE players in the history of the NBA, it's time to open the wallet. Talking about LeBron, not Steph Curry. My top five list, in order, would be Kareem at the top of the pyramid, Michael Jordan next, LeBron 3rd, Bill Russell 4th and Tim Duncan 5th. Would put Kobe and Steph next in a tie for 6th. Las Vegas - Hate to keep picking on the A's, but gotta throw my bundle of chips in the opposite direction. The Rangers send Nathan Eovaldi to the bump and when he is right, he is basically impossible to hit. Just ask the Yankees and Angels, his last two opponents. Eovaldi tossed a nine inning shutout at New York and fed the Angels eight innings worth of bagels. That's 17 innings of nothing but ZEROES and that's worth a Texas tumble.
