Las Vegas - My son and I are in a fantasy league and we do the draft together. When I told him that the 49ers should be our #1 team pick, he LAUGHED at me. "Dad, you're always terrible when it comes to the NFL." THX kid. Of course, you can insert a VERY BAD word into that sentence, because my son does have a potty mouth. So, the Niners started off lousy, losing two of the first three, and four of the first seven. And of course, I caught a bunch of grief.

Las Vegas - Who will take on Argentina in the World Cup final on Sunday? The defending champions from France, or the Atlas lions from Morocco? The French have maybe the BEST player in the world at the moment in Kylian Mbappe while Morocco has NOT allowed an opposing player to score in the tournament. The only goal Morocco conceded was an own-goal against Canada.

Las Vegas - Another UGLY matchup tonight on the NFL board with the Patriots at the Cardinals. Not interested in either side or any of the props. But will dribble on to the college basketball hardwood and take New Mexico over San Francisco. This game is not at the famous PIT in Albuquerque but right here in Vegas. If you have not dialed in to college hoops yet, lemme tell you that the Lobos are rolling at 9-0 straight up and 5-2-1 against the spread.

Las Vegas - Gonna take half of the money we won last week hitting the middle, and go back to the teaser board for another try. Again, I KNOW that these are low percentage plays, but MAN are they fun. Start out with the Jets and bump New York up from +10 to +20 points over the Bills. Why? The Jets know how to play defense and have not lost a game by more than 15 points yet this season. Then we'll move down to Pittsburgh and take the Steelers from -1 to +9 points against the Ravens. Why?
