Las Vegas - A little college football action tonight and looking at East Carolina +5 points over Cincinnati. The line opened Cincy -6 and the wise guys are starting to chip away. East Carolina has won three in a row and covered 12 of the last 17. The Pirates QB, Holton Ahlers, is putting together quite a season. He is hitting on 70 percent of his throws for 2,632 yards with 18 TDs and five INTs.

Las Vegas - Anyone care to choose between a Baker, a Walker or a Darnold? That's what is on tap tonight as the Panthers host the Falcons. Carolina is a delicious MESS. They gave up THIRTY FIVE points to the Bengals last week, in the FIRST HALF, then fired two defensive coaches (Paul Pasqualoni and Evan Cooper). Oh yea, the head coach, Matt Ruhle was fired just a few weeks ago. So, Baker Mayfield replaced P.J. Walker last week and he guided the Panthers to three TDs.

Las Vegas - After shipping Donovan Mitchell to Cleveland and Rudy Gobert to Minnesota, most everyone figured that Utah would be stuck at the bottom of the NBA barrel. UH UH! The Jazz are playing some gorgeous music, sitting on top of the Western Conference with a 9-3 record. However, the Hawks have put together a sweet little hat trick, beating the Knicks 112-99, the Pelicans 124-121, then busting up the Bucks 117-98.

Las Vegas - Riding the Zamboni tonight and gonna try the Sabres over the Coyotes. Buffalo is coming off two straight losses, but both of those games were on the ROAD. At home, the Sabres were on FIRE the last three times out, winning all three, and outscoring the opposition 18-9. That's 18 red lights in three game, which, my calculator tells me, works out to SIX goals per. Gimme a few loonies on the Buffs!

Las Vegas - Looks like the Ravens are starting to fly. They are in the penthouse of the AFC North with a 5-3 record and have had a few extra days rest. Lamar Jackson will be without All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews, which is a YUGE loss, but he has found two new kids to handle the air attack. Isaiah Likely and Demarcus Robinson both had six grabs against the Bucs last week, and Lamar spread the love to seven receivers.
