Las Vegas - Never thrilled laying double digits in the NFL, but in this spot, we GOTTA ride the Colts all the way to the bank. Indy put up a strong fight last Monday night against the Ravens before coming up on the short end of a 31-25 score in OT. Carson Wentz was actually close to fabulous, hitting on 25 of 35 for 402 yards, with 2 TDs and NO INTs. On the season, Wentz is 113 of 173 (65.3%), with 7 TDs and just 1 INT. Las Vegas - Gonna head to potato country and take Boise State -3.5 points over Air Force. Boise opened -6 and has been bet all the way down to 3.5. This is ALL wise guy money looking for a middle. If you don't wanna play both sides, and are just looking for the winner, stay with me. Sure the Broncos are coming off a big win last week over BYU, but they ain't about to ease off the gas. Las Vegas - First lemme tell you about the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. It's OLD, it's BORING and it's UGLY! But MAN is it LOUD! If you just looked at the Orange's overall record, 3-3, they would appear to be only average. However, where it REALLY matters, in the bank account, the 'Cuse is on FIRE. They have covered four in a row and five of the last six. On the other side of the field, Clemson is working on a NEGATIVE perfecto. The Tigers are 0-5 against the spread this season.

Las Vegas - Not just any thumb, it's the RIGHT THUMB! TB12's right thumb. So, if you're Bruce Arians, do you sit Tommy Terrific and let the thumb get two weeks rest before facing the Bears on October 24? Or do you start Brady and roll the dice? Whew, tough one. Which makes the handicap tough as well. Normally, we would just phone in a bet on Tampa without even thinking, but with the thumb, this is anything but normal.

Las Vegas - If you're all about underdogs in the NFL, you were probably flush after the first four weeks with the dogs sitting at 38-24. If you played all the dogs this past week, you gave back some of your cash, but still were in the black. It was a 7-9 cover mark, but the dogs are still barking with a 45-33 record after five weeks.
