Las Vegas - Cole Train or Mad Max? Gerrit Cole or Max Scherzer? If you're a music fan, then Cole Train is your choice. If you're a movie aficionado, then Mad Max is your guy. As for the stats, regular season and playoffs, Cole gets the nod and probably the Cy Young hardware. Why? A 20-5 record, a slim 2.50 ERA, 326 Ks, and an invisible WHIP of 0.89. Las Vegas - Every stinkin' stat and trend points to New England. The Patriots rocked the New Yorkers in the first meeting up at Foxborough, 30-14, but, that was with Luke Falk under center. WHO? Exactly. Sam Darnold came back last week after missing a few games, and lit up the Cowboys, connecting on 23 of 32 for 338 yards with 2 TDs. The Jets will have WR Demaryius Thomas for this game, and he'd LOVE to go big after getting cut by the Pats.

Las Vegas - Starting in D.C., and gonna rock the 49ers -9.5 points over the Redskins. Bought the game at -9.5 during the week, now seeing -10, even -10.5. Middle maybe??? San Francisco's master of Xs & Os, Kyle Shanahan, was the offensive coordinator in Washington for his dad Mike from 2010-13. When Kyle was asked about his favorite memory during his time in D.C., he said "being able to work with my dad and be around some other good coaches." Then came the follow up.

Las Vegas - Follow the money. That's exactly what we're gonna do. Looking at the MAC, specifically the Ball State - Toledo matchup. The Rockets opened -1.5 and when the Mitchell Guadagni injury hit, the money started to flow, and the Cardinals from Muncie are now -2.5. We're checking on the rumor that the massive amount of green came from Ball State alum, David Letterman. We'll keep you posted. So, we're all over Ball.

Las Vegas - Gonna take a peek at the Florida Atlantic/Marshall game, and take a light ride with FAU -5 points. After looking over their work this season, it looks like Lane Kiffin's Owls can't handle the cream, but certainly have no trouble with the bottom feeders. Atlantic lost to Ohio State, only the #3 team in the country, and to UCF, only a team that had won 28 in a row before losing at Pittsburgh. So, no surprise, and nothing to be embarrassed about.
