NFL Week 6 Betting Preview

Week 6 of the NFL season kicks off on Thursday night with an AFC West matchup featuring the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs.

At the Bovada Sportsbook the Chiefs are 10.5-point home favorites. Kansas City improved to 4-1 straight up and 3-2 against the spread last week with a 27-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings as 3.5-point favorites. The Chiefs are 3-1 ATS in their last four games and when listed as double-digit favorites they’ve won 15 straight with a 7-8 ATS record.

Denver is 1-4 SU and 0-4-1 ATS following last week’s 31-21 loss to the New York Jets as 2-point favorites. The Broncos are 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games and on the road they’re 1-6 SU and 2-4-1 ATS in their last seven.

In this matchup the Chiefs have won 15 straight with a 10-5 ATS record. At home against Denver they’ve won seven in a row at 4-3 ATS.

Vikings road favorites taking on the Bears

On Sunday NFC North cellar dwellers meet up when the Minnesota Vikings visit the Chicago Bears as 2.5-point road favorites.

Minnesota dropped to 1-4 SU and 1-3-1 ATS after its 27-20 loss to Kansas City as 3.5-point underdogs. The Vikings are a lousy 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games, but when favored on the road they’ve won six straight at 4-1-1 ATS.

Chicago posted its fist win of the season both SU and ATS last week after getting past the Washington Commanders 40-20 as 6-point underdogs. That snapped a 14-game losing streak during which the Bears were 2-11-1 ATS. At home the Bears have dropped nine straight with a 2-6-1 ATS record.

The Vikings have won four straight versus the Bears while going 3-1 ATS. In Chicago the Vikings have won three in a row SU and ATS.

Jaguars are betting chalk hosting the Colts

In the AFC South on Sunday the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Indianapolis Colts as 4-point favorites.

Jacksonville is 3-2 SU and ATS after defeating the Buffalo Bills 25-20 as 4.5-point underdogs last week in London. The Jaguars are 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last eight home games. When favored the Jaguars are 3-9 ATS in their last 12.

Indianapolis upset the Tennessee Titans 23-16 as 2.5-point underdogs last week to improve to 3-2 SU and ATS. As an underdog the Colts are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four, and they are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 as a road underdog.

In Week 1 the Jaguars defeated the Colts 31-21 as 3.5-point road favorites. The Jaguars are 7-1 ATS in their last eight versus the Colts, and at home against them they’ve won eight straight both SU and ATS.

Monday night has Cowboys versus Chargers

Week 6 concludes Monday night with the Dallas Cowboys at the Los Angeles Chargers as 2-point road favorites.

Dallas is 3-2 SU and ATS following last week’s 42-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers as 3.5-point underdogs. As road favorites the Cowboys are 6-4 SU and ATS in their last 10. In their last nine Monday night games they’re 7-2 ATS

The Chargers are coming off their bye week at 2-2 SU and ATS. They’re 4-1-1 ATS in their last six at home, but as home underdogs the Chargers are 1-6 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven.

In this matchup Dallas is 5-4 SU and 4-5 ATS in the last nine games.
