Las Vegas - Fred Hoiberg had a solid five year run at Iowa State (115-56) and a lousy four year stretch in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls (115-155). Hoiberg headed back to the college wars with Nebraska in 2019 and the first couple of years were NOT pretty. In 2019-20 the Cornhuskers were 7-25, in 2020-21 they were 7-20, in 2021-22 they improved to 10-22, then in 2022-23, it was back to even at 16-16. Apparently, Fred has the kids and the pace of play he wants which is why the Huskers are sitting at 20-9 with an invite coming to the Big Dance. Maybe an #8 or #9 seed. Nebraska is coming off a road loss to Ohio State (78-69) but at home in Lincoln, the Cornhuskers are money. LOTS and LOTS of MONEY. How about an ELEVEN & OH run straight up and 10-1 against the spread. Gonna go to the silo and BUY some CORN baabbbeee! If the spread goes over -8, might take a pass.

UH OH...the game just went to 'Braska -9 so we gotta take a pass...
