Las Vegas - Like a handful of the top pitchers in MLB, Ryan Pepiot started his career with the Dodgers. In 2022 he was 3-0 with a 3.47 ERA and 2023 he was 2-1 with a 2.14 ERA. Then he was traded to Tampa Bay and posted an 8-8 record with a 3.60 ERA in 2024. This season, Pepiot is under water at 4-6 but his ERA is still respectable at 3.11. Even more respectable are his last five starts where he has allowed just six earned runs over 33 innings for a tasty 1.64 ERA. Throw in 37 Ks over that stretch and Tampa's recent hot streak, five wins in the last seven games (not including last night), and you understand why the Rays are on my RAYdar.
