Las Vegas - A little action on the diamond this afternoon before we step on to the NBA hardwood. Looking at the Tigers with Tarik Skubal over the Brewers. Skubal struggled out of the gate when he was called up to Detroit, with a 1-4 record in 2020, 8-12 in 2021 and 7-8 in 2022. Tarik turned the corner in 2023 with a 7-3 record, and closed the season with four straight wins. He is 7-1 so far this season with a skinny 1.92 ERA. So, winning 11 of the last 12 tells me that the Bank of Benj is open in Motown.

Flying up to Boston for game two and gonna head right to Prop City for a few more winners. The Mavericks are gonna need a third option to take the pressure off Luka and Kyrie and that has to be P.J. Washington. The Over/Under point total for Washington is listed at 11.5 and we're going Over. P.J. scored 14 against the Celtics in game one and is averaging 14 points per game in the playoffs. He is on the court for almost 38 minutes every game and should be able to knock down at least 15 points maybe closer to 20 this evening. And as long we're talking P.J., gonna throw some chips at Washington Over 1.5 made 3-pointers. Then we'll walk over to the Boston bench and take Sam Hauser over 3.5 points. Hauser knocked down eight points in game one in 16 minutes and should be able to tickle the twine for at least 5 points tonight.
