Recap - Timberwolves Defeat Charlotte 121-99

The battle between the Timberwolves and Hornets didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Charlotte was handed a 121-99 defeat on Friday at Spectrum Center.

Minnesota was a favorite by -5.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 225.0.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 37 points for Minnesota and Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 16 points. Shabazz Napier had 9 assists for the Timberwolves, while Karl-Anthony Towns was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 15 boards.

Charlotte got 24 points from Devonte' Graham in a losing cause and another 17 points from Miles Bridges. Terry Rozier contributed 10 assists for the Hornets, while PJ Washington had 10 rebounds.

Minnesota led at halftime, 58-56.

Minnesota won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 52-42.

Minnesota looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Heat. The Hornets will aim to get back on the winning track at LA Lakers.
