Miami Defeats Washington 119-112 - Recap
Washington was victimized by Tyler Herro for 32 points as the Heat defeated the Wizards 119-112 in NBA action on Tuesday.
The Heat won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -8.0-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Duncan Robinson had 26 points for Miami and Jimmy Butler chipped in with 25 points. Jimmy Butler had 15 assists for the Heat, while Omer Yurtseven was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.
The Wizards got a 24-point performance from Spencer Dinwiddie, who was supported by 22 points from Kyle Kuzma. Spencer Dinwiddie had 11 assists in a losing cause for Washington, while Daniel Gafford grabbed 11 rebounds.
Miami led at halftime, 65-51.
Washington won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 47-42.
Miami heads into a battle against the Spurs. Washington, meanwhile, will have their next action against Cleveland.
