Mavericks Fall 126-119 Against Oklahoma City - Game Recap
Oklahoma City got 31 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander en route to a 126-119 victory over Dallas on Thursday at Paycom Center.
Oklahoma City did not, however, defeat the Mavericks against the spread, which closed at -9.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 234.0.
Oklahoma City got 27 points from Jalen Williams and another 18 points from Josh Giddey. Josh Giddey contributed 5 assists, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Dallas got 36 points from Kyrie Irving in a losing cause and another 23 points from Tim Hardaway Jr.. Kyrie Irving contributed 12 assists for the Mavericks, while Daniel Gafford had 15 rebounds.
The Thunder hit the break winning 65-63 before taking care of business in the second half.
Dallas won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-34.
Next game, Oklahoma City takes its act on the road to face Memphis looking for another win. For Dallas, they head home to face Denver.
