New York Defeats Washington 113-109 - Recap

The Knicks got a 41-point performance from Jalen Brunson as New York handed Washington a 113-109 defeat on Thursday at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -12.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Washington got 24 points from Jordan Poole in a losing cause and another 20 points from Marvin Bagley III. Tyus Jones contributed 15 assists for the Wizards, while Marvin Bagley III had 11 rebounds.

The Knicks hit the break winning 46-45 before taking care of business in the second half.

New York had a 47-45 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, New York takes its act home to face Toronto looking for another win. For Washington, they head home to face San Antonio.
