Memphis Falls 108-100 to Cavaliers - Recap
The Grizzlies were burned for 30 points by Donovan Mitchell on Saturday as the Cavaliers picked up a 108-100 win at Rocket Arena.
Cleveland did not, however, defeat the Grizzlies against the spread, which closed at -10.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 241.5.
Cleveland got 22 points from Evan Mobley and another 16 points from Jarrett Allen. Donovan Mitchell contributed 5 assists, while Evan Mobley cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
The Grizzlies got a 26-point performance from Jaren Jackson Jr., who was supported by 13 points from Zach Edey. Vince Williams Jr. had 5 assists in a losing cause for Memphis, while Santi Aldama grabbed 11 rebounds.
The Cavaliers hit the break losing 61-54 before taking care of business in the second half.
Cleveland won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 49-46.
Next game, Cleveland takes its act home to face Milwaukee looking for another win. For Memphis, they head on the road to face San Antonio.
