The battle between UC-Santa Barbara and San Francisco State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as San Francisco State was handed a 119-65 defeat on Wednesday at Thunderdome.
UC-Santa Barbara got 25 points from Josh Pierre-Louis and another 25 points from Amadou Sow. Ajay Mitchell contributed 5 assists, while Robinson Idehen cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
San Francisco State got 11 points from Jalen Chandler in a losing cause and another 11 points from Jacob Huynh. Jalen Chandler contributed 2 assists for them, while Sean Orr had 7 rebounds.
UC-Santa Barbara was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UC-Santa Barbara won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 62-23.
