Army Falls 82-56 to Duke - Recap
The battle between Duke and Army didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Army was handed a 82-56 defeat on Friday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Duke got 19 points from Wendell Moore Jr. and another 18 points from Paolo Banchero. Wendell Moore Jr. contributed 10 assists, while Paolo Banchero cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Army got a 19-point performance from Jalen Rucker, who was supported by 16 points from Josh Caldwell. Aaron Duhart had 4 assists in a losing cause for Army, while Josh Caldwell grabbed 7 rebounds.
Duke was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Duke had a 39-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Duke takes its act home to face Campbell looking for another win. For Army, they head home to face Hartford.
