UMass-Lowell Defeats Central Connecticut State 77-53 - Recap

UMass-Lowell cruised to victory on Wednesday, running Central Connecticut State out of the gym and running up a 77-53 score at Mohegan Sun Arena.

UMass-Lowell got 18 points from Kalil Thomas and another 18 points from Max Brooks. Justin Faison contributed 5 assists, while Max Brooks cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Central Connecticut State got a 12-point performance from Nigel Scantlebury, who was supported by 7 points from Stephane Ayangma. Nigel Scantlebury had 4 assists in a losing cause for Central Connecticut State, while Andre Snoddy grabbed 9 rebounds.

UMass-Lowell was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

UMass-Lowell won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-25.
