Sam Houston State Falls 67-41 to Grand Canyon - Recap

Sam Houston State was run off the court by Grand Canyon on Saturday as they blasted them 67-41 at Grand Canyon University Arena.

Grand Canyon won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.0-point spread as favorites.

Grand Canyon got 18 points from Jovan Blacksher Jr. and another 15 points from Chance McMillian. Holland Woods contributed 5 assists, while Gabe McGlothan cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Sam Houston State got a 8-point performance from Jaden Ray, who was supported by 8 points from Javion May. Savion Flagg had 2 assists in a losing cause for Sam Houston State, while Savion Flagg grabbed 7 rebounds.

Grand Canyon was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Grand Canyon won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-27.

Next game, Grand Canyon takes its act home to face Utah Valley looking for another win. For Sam Houston State, they head home to face Tarleton State.
