Eastern Illinois Falls 72-46 to Murray State - Recap
The battle between Murray State and Eastern Illinois didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Eastern Illinois was handed a 72-46 defeat on Monday at Lantz Arena.
Murray State was the ATS victor, as they covered the -21.5-point spread as a favorite.
Murray State got 19 points from Tevin Brown and another 16 points from KJ Williams. Justice Hill contributed 6 assists, while DJ Burns cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Eastern Illinois got a 9-point performance from Rodolfo Rufino Bolis, who was supported by 9 points from CJ Lane. Kejuan Clements had 4 assists in a losing cause for Eastern Illinois, while Rodolfo Rufino Bolis grabbed 6 rebounds.
Murray State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Murray State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-17.
