George Washington Colonials vs Duquesne Dukes Recap - George Washington Wins 73-52

The battle between George Washington and Duquesne didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Duquesne was handed a 73-52 defeat on Wednesday at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.

George Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.0-point spread as underdogs.

Joe Bamisile had 21 points for George Washington and Brendan Adams chipped in with 12 points. Joe Bamisile had 3 assists for them, while Ricky Lindo Jr. was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.

Duquesne got a 18-point performance from Tre Williams, who was supported by 15 points from Amir Spears. Amir Spears had 2 assists in a losing cause for Duquesne, while Kevin Easley Jr. grabbed 11 rebounds.

George Washington was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Duquesne won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 42-40.

George Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Rhode Island. Duquesne will aim to get back on the winning track at St. Bonaventure.
