Wright State vs Detroit Final: 90-59 - Recap
The battle between Wright State and Detroit didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Detroit was handed a 90-59 defeat on Friday at Ervin J. Nutter Center.
Wright State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.5-point spread as favorites.
Wright State got 29 points from Grant Basile and another 15 points from Tanner Holden. Trey Calvin contributed 7 assists, while Grant Basile cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Detroit got a 20-point performance from DJ Harvey, who was supported by 15 points from Antoine Davis. Antoine Davis had 4 assists in a losing cause for Detroit, while DJ Harvey grabbed 7 rebounds.
Wright State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Wright State as they grabbed 36 boards, while Detroit only had 27
Wright State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Oakland. Detroit will aim to get back on the winning track at Northern Kentucky.
