The battle between Mount St. Mary's and McDaniel College didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as McDaniel College was handed a 60-38 defeat on Tuesday at Knott Arena.
Mount St. Mary's got 18 points from Jalen Benjamin and another 13 points from Malik Jefferson. Jalen Benjamin contributed 8 assists, while George Tinsley cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
McDaniel College got 9 points from Christian Taylor in a losing cause and another 9 points from Jeong Hwang. Lorin Hall contributed 2 assists for them, while Charles Contee had 7 rebounds.
