Gonzaga vs Montana Final: 85-75 - Recap
Montana was victimized for 32 points and 11 rebounds by Drew Timme as Gonzaga defeated them 85-75 in NCAA action on Tuesday.
Gonzaga did not, however, defeat Montana against the spread, which closed at -23.5 at most sportsbooks.
Gonzaga got 15 points from Julian Strawther and another 11 points from Malachi Smith. Drew Timme contributed 5 assists, while Drew Timme cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Montana got 19 points from Josh Bannan in a losing cause and another 15 points from Brandon Whitney. Aanen Moody contributed 3 assists for them, while Josh Bannan had 4 rebounds.
Gonzaga was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Gonzaga won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-24.
Next game, Gonzaga takes its act home to face Eastern Oregon looking for another win. For Montana, they head home to face Eastern Washington.
