The battle between Bellarmine and Berea didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Berea was handed a 98-59 defeat on Thursday at Freedom Hall.
Garrett Tipton had 18 points for Bellarmine and Peter Suder chipped in with 17 points. Dezmond McKinney had 9 assists for them, while Langdon Hatton was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Berea got a 17-point performance from Trey Minter, who was supported by 8 points from Bryce Riley. Bryce Riley had 2 assists in a losing cause for Berea, while Bryce Riley grabbed 6 rebounds.
Bellarmine was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
