Merrimack Defeats Rider 66-64 - Recap

Merrimack got 22 points and 10 assists from Adam Clark en route to a 66-64 victory over Rider on Sunday at Alumni Gymnasium.

Merrimack won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -4.5-point spread.

Merrimack got 12 points from Bryan Etumnu and another 10 points from Matt Becht. Adam Clark contributed 10 assists, while Bryan Etumnu cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

Rider got 15 points from Zion Cruz in a losing cause and another 14 points from T.J. Weeks Jr.. Tariq Ingraham contributed 4 assists for them, while Jay Alvarez had 8 rebounds.

Merrimack was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Rider won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-22.

Merrimack looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Niagara. Rider will aim to get back on the winning track at Sacred Heart.
