Recap - Yale Defeats Harvard 84-55

The battle between Yale and Harvard didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Harvard was handed a 84-55 defeat on Saturday at John J. Lee Amphitheater.

Yale won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -13.5-point spread as favorites.

Yale got 22 points from Nick Townsend and another 15 points from John Poulakidas. Nick Townsend contributed 3 assists, while Nick Townsend cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Harvard got a 13-point performance from Chandler Pigge, who was supported by 11 points from Louis Lesmond. Robert Hinton had 3 assists in a losing cause for Harvard, while Thomas Batties II grabbed 5 rebounds.

Yale was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

The rebound battle favored Yale as they grabbed 44 boards, while Harvard only had 22

Yale looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Princeton. Harvard will aim to get back on the winning track at Columbia.
