Utah Defeats Arizona State 99-73 - Recap
The battle between Utah and Arizona State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Arizona State was handed a 99-73 defeat on Saturday at Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Utah won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -9.0-point spread as favorites.
Ezra Ausar had 25 points for Utah and Keanu Dawes chipped in with 15 points. Mike Sharavjamts had 6 assists for them, while Keanu Dawes was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Arizona State got a 28-point performance from Joson Sanon, who was supported by 16 points from Basheer Jihad. Alston Mason had 4 assists in a losing cause for Arizona State, while Amier Ali grabbed 6 rebounds.
Utah was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah had a 35-24 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Utah takes its act home to face West Virginia looking for another win. For Arizona State, they head on the road to face Arizona.
