Western Carolina Falls 94-63 Against Cincinnati - Game Recap

The battle between Cincinnati and Western Carolina didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Western Carolina was handed a 94-63 defeat on Monday at Fifth Third Arena.

Cincinnati won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -22.0-point spread as favorites.

Baba Miller had 18 points for Cincinnati and Shon Abaev chipped in with 18 points. Kerr Kriisa had 4 assists for them, while Baba Miller was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

Western Carolina got a 23-point performance from Cord Stansberry, who was supported by 13 points from Julien Soumaoro. Tahlan Pettway had 3 assists in a losing cause for Western Carolina, while Marcus Kell grabbed 9 rebounds.

Cincinnati was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Cincinnati looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Georgia State. Western Carolina will aim to get back on the winning track at Duke.
