Pepperdine earned a 90-79 victory over New Orleans on Tuesday, getting 23 points from Javon Cooley at Firestone Fieldhouse.
Danilo Dozic had 21 points for Pepperdine and Styles Phipps chipped in with 14 points. Styles Phipps had 11 assists for them, while Javon Cooley was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.
New Orleans got 17 points from Coleton Benson in a losing cause and another 17 points from Panagiotis Pagonis. Coleton Benson contributed 6 assists for them, while MJ Thomas had 14 rebounds.
Pepperdine was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
