Recap - Yale Defeats Quinnipiac 97-60
The battle between Yale and Quinnipiac didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Quinnipiac was handed a 97-60 defeat on Tuesday at M&T Bank Arena.
Yale was a -6.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Yale got 13 points from Riley Fox and another 13 points from Samson Aletan. Isaac Celiscar contributed 3 assists, while Isaac Celiscar cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Quinnipiac got a 16-point performance from Jaden Zimmerman, who was supported by 12 points from Keith McKnight. Asim Jones had 5 assists in a losing cause for Quinnipiac, while Spence Wewe grabbed 8 rebounds.
Yale led at halftime, 52-29.
Yale had a 34-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Yale looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Stony Brook. Quinnipiac will aim to get back on the winning track at Maine.
