Howard Defeats Niagara 80-70 - Recap
Bryce Harris scored 20 points leading Howard to a 80-70 victory over Niagara at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday.
Howard got 15 points from Travelle Bryson and another 13 points from Ose Okojie. Cam Gillus contributed 6 assists, while Bryce Harris cleaned the glass with 5 rebounds.
Niagara got 22 points from Justin Hawkins in a losing cause and another 11 points from Trenton Walters. Reggie Prudhomme contributed 2 assists for them, while Drew Larson had 6 rebounds.
Howard was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Howard had a 30-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Howard heads into a battle against Duke. Niagara, meanwhile, will have their next action against Detroit.
