Illinois State Falls 87-67 Against USC - Game Recap
The battle between USC and Illinois State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Illinois State was handed a 87-67 defeat on Friday at Intuit Dome.
USC was the ATS victor, as they covered the -15.5-point spread as a favorite.
USC got 21 points from Rodney Rice and another 18 points from Chad Baker-Mazara. Rodney Rice contributed 10 assists, while Rodney Rice cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Illinois State got a 16-point performance from Ty'Reek Coleman, who was supported by 15 points from Johnny Kinziger. Landon Wolf had 2 assists in a losing cause for Illinois State, while Chase Walker grabbed 9 rebounds.
USC was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
USC had a 35-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, USC takes its act home to face Troy looking for another win. For Illinois State, they head on the road to face Long Beach State.
