Calumet Crimson Wave vs Evansville Aces Wrap - Evansville Wins 92-50
The battle between Evansville and Calumet didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Calumet was handed a 92-50 defeat on Friday at Ford Center.
Evansville got 21 points from Alex Hemenway and another 12 points from Joshua Hughes. Leif Moeller contributed 8 assists, while James Dyson-Merwe cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Calumet got a 10-point performance from J.Caleb Slawinski, who was supported by 8 points from Cooper Aitken. Malik Petty had 4 assists in a losing cause for Calumet, while Malik Petty grabbed 6 rebounds.
Evansville was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Evansville had a 41-22 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Evansville looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Oakland City. Calumet will aim to get back on the winning track at Valparaiso.
